Search Engine Optimization is the organic process created to improve the position of the website in the search results which is not affected or increased by paid advertisements. The organic search result can not be affected by pay ads, the main purpose of that is to develop position by the natural search engine, in simple words the better the page is and the more often visited the higher position will have on the website in the search results. On the opposite side, the website which paid for the ads will appear on the search results as a first only because google tries to force the people to click on the page from which they are getting profit for each entry.
The below example shows the search result for “Python training course”. The first two are paid advertisements which are always appearing on top of the page whereas the organic one will appear just after the ads and deepens how often the site was visited by others.
Increasing the position through the organic search engine required time and high-quality content on the website which will attract users to visit the site more often. It is a time-consuming long-term goal that in effect will bring the desired result. On the other hand, there is an option for paying for the ads which will push the website up front in the search result, the downside of this is that you will have to pay for each entry that has been placed on your website without warranty that people who enter the site will stay on it (MOZ, 2022) (Digital Marketing Institute, 2019).
