Meta Tags are positioned in <head> elements and provide the information data in HTML documents. Is usually used to describe the information like page descriptions, keywords, author, or viewport settings. The meta tags are not displayed on the webpage but can be found through the page source. The information included in meta tags is used directly by the browser for example keywords or how to display the contents. They are several attributes that can be defined by the meta tags, some of them we will be reviewing based on the W3chool webpage example (W3Schools, 2022).
