Evaluation of two E-commerce websites

E-commerce has a long way from its beginning, in today's world, everyone contributes to this evaluation. For years businesses and corporations have been trying to get more efficient and provide better products and services to ensure consumers are satisfied and are aiming to come back and spend more money. This rat race helps to provide the better shopping experience which we can experience today. In this blog, we going to compare two e-commerce sites that are aiming to seduce the customer through the website.

Tesla is the king of electric cars vs Auto Trader leading UK sites for selling cars.

According to google Tesla's site have about 129 pages whereas auto trader is much smaller with sixty-nine pages on the website. When we scroll the Auto trader site, we can find several social media links for example Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to join but on the other hand, Tesla does not have them. Both sites have easy access to customer support sites with the email, phone number, or address to contact. Tesla products do not display any prices or offer whereas Auto Trader tempts customers with an offer and savings.

Needier Tesla or Auto Trader do not have the option to pay in a different currency. In terms of the navigation menu, the Tesla site has a breakdown for each model which they produce on top of that they have easy access to the shop page, personal account, or extended menu with many different options to choose from. When we compare this with the Auto Trader site there are seventeen different tabs to choose from, on top of that there is a drop-down user search form where customers can specify what exactly they look for.

Looking at the User Experience (UX) site of those two websites we can see that Tesla’s website is a step ahead, the user-friendly construction of the site allows users to quickly find what they need whereas Auto Trader’s site seems to be overloaded which makes a user fill lost in the context. Tesla’s site is created in a noticeably clear and professional way with a distinguished style, the images and photos are truly clear and of high quality which makes the page look posh. Compared to Tesla, the Auto Trader site lacks clarity and quality, overwhelming content, and poor-quality images repel the consumer instead of attracting them. Both sides are served by HTTPS and have valid certifications.
