The product page will be the main topic of today's blog. We will review and compare two websites that focus on selling wooden shelves. The comparison will be very beneficial for future creation on my own website which is focusing sales on this same type of product and targeting this same customer.
First, we will look at the Funky Chunky Furniture website. The product page contains a large image of the item with the ability to zoom in for a customer. On the right-hand side are a heading with the title of the product, price, and short description. below that, we can see a drop-down list with several lengths of the product to choose from. They are also pallets with the color to select. The page provides the ability to increase the unit number, add to the basket button, and also add to the wish list. At the bottom, we can see another picture showing the potential client how the shelf will present in a home corner.

The second website is Traditional Beams which has a similar view to the previous one. The product page starts with the image slide of the items and a nice table of the pros and cons of why customers should purchase from them. On the right-hand side just above the heading is placed a stars review for the product, the heading display the title of the product and a short description, also with a hyperlink to be assigned to read more which transfer the customer to the below section where is placed full product review. After the product description, there are options to choose from for customers for example depth, length, color, and the number of units of the item. There are also at-to-basket buttons and an add-to wish list ability provided by the site. A nice addition to the product page is the drop-down list with product description, product review, color finishes, and installation information. There are also banners with additional products that customers can potentially purchase.

Both sides are very similar and the same time very different. Even do that they sell this same type of goods they are a significant difference in website design which can determine where customers will decide to make a purchase. In my opinion, the second site was carefully thought out, and the size of the images and placement of the drop-down list work together to create a good-looking product page that each customer will admire.
